RESUMEN
El principal propósito de esta investigación fue
analizar cómo las habilidades blandas contribuyeron a potenciar el talento
académico de estudiantes de premedia de las Regiones
Educativas de San Miguelito y Panamá Centro, durante la puesta en marcha del
Programa Interinstitucional de Seguimiento al Talento Académico (PISTA). Programa extracurricular desarrollado por la
Dirección de Investigación y Post Grado de ISAE Universidad en el periodo 2017-2019. El instrumento utilizado para la evaluación
de las habilidades blandas consta de 20 ítems que fueron agrupados en tres, estas
son: liderazgo, comunicación y proactividad. De igual manera, se midió el rendimiento en
las áreas de ciencia, humanidades, tecnología, ambiente y arte.

ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this investigation was to analyze
how soft skills contributed to enhance middle school student’s academic talent. The students are from San Miguelito
and Panama Education Regions. During the
implementation of the Interinstitutional Program for
the Follow up of Academic Talent (PISTA acronym in Spanish), an extracurricular
program developed by the Department of Investigation and Post Graduate of ISAE
University during 2017-2019. The
instrument used to evaluate the soft skills is compose of 20 items that where
group as follow, leadership, communication and proactively. At the same token, to measure the performance
in science, humanities, technology, environment and art.
