Alfred Sisley, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro y Vincent Van Gogh.
ABSTRACT
Impressionism
is a new style of painting created by a group of artists during the second half
of the 19th century. In this movement are artists such as: Claude Monet, Edovard Manet, Alfred Sisley,
Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro
and Vincent Van Gogh. The interest of
the group was to get rid of the strict code set by the Royal Academy of
Painting and Sculpture. The
investigation begins its first hits with Manet's
phrase "I paint what I see, and not what others want to see". It is a
necessity to update the careers every five years and within this framework the
competences in the field of the achievement of abilities and skills are
analyzed, but at the same time the importance of analysis, problem solving and
decision making; elements that are present in the paintings. That is why the study determines the need to
implement impressionism in the curriculum as a didactic method, since it
manages to break paradigms. The study is
qualitative, it used the technique of interviewing teachers and students in
relation to their work in the classroom and the use of some techniques, which
allowed suggesting adaptations in the curriculum of the Theory subject,
materials and techniques of the paint.
